ACDP undertakes projects to provide resources for trainees and faculty, often with other organizations, such as The American Physiological Society (APS).
Medical Physiology Learning Objectives
This is a joint project of ACDP and APS. The current ongoing revision of the project is being headed by Robert G. Carroll, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Physiology, East Carolina University School of Medicine and L. Gabriel Navar, Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Department of Physiology, Tulane University School of Medicine.

ACDP and APS have compiled a list of important professional development skills for physiology trainees. The primary purpose of this list is to serve as a professional development tool for physiology trainees and their mentors.
Professional Skills Training Courses
The APS Professional Skills Training Program promotes the development of key professional skills among graduate and postdoctoral students and new investigators by offering effective live courses that are appropriate for students in any life science discipline.
